sensitive midwifery independent midwife network (SM-IMN)

The SM-IMN is an umbrella network of independent midwives in South Africa, hosted by Sensitive Midwifery (the professional midwifery division of the well-known Sister Lilian Centre). This network is exclusively open to independent midwives who are actively involved in antenatal care, attending births (whether just a few or many each year) and/or postnatal care.

This membership option includes a listing of your independent midwife practice or birth facility, supportive of physiologically-focused maternity care, on both the Sensitive Midwifery website (which expectant couples and parents often stumble across) and the hugely popular Sister Lilian Centre website for pregnancy, birth, babycare, and parenting support.
